    As the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in generating revenue into our growing organization. Extensis Group, LLC is one of the fastest growing PEO’s in the Northeast and you will have a direct influence on the future development of our organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales and overseeing a dedicated team of Broker Sales Managers (BSM), you and your team will on a mission to convince every benefits broker in our service territory to start proposing Extensis’ PEO product to their clients and once they gain confidence with us, to make our product an important part of their everyday advice to clients.

     

     You will foster a winning team culture focused on developing and coaching sales representatives, building out a differentiated sales distribution channel and driving profitable growth. This position will have an enormous impact on the development of our broker channel distribution model and while generating new business referral opportunities among the small and mid-sized business market.

    • You have extensive experience selling value-add services to senior level executives in the Northeast area with an existing strong business network. 

    Responsibilities

    In this dynamic and growth-driven sales position, you will be responsible for…

    • Sales Generation and Leads: Drive development and expansion of insurance broker referral channel by activating new insurance brokers and accelerating existing insurance broker relationships. Achieve and exceed team sales quota by generating insurance broker referrals, improved sales effectiveness and productivity. 
    • Broker Relationship Management: Develop and cultivate a strong business network with health insurance brokers, agencies, and centers of influence within assigned territory to maximize Extensis’ reputation as the premier broker focused sales organization in the PEO industry. You will source, qualify and build relationships with benefit brokers and educate, engage and generate sales opportunities from benefit brokers. 
    • Sales Channel Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and support to a team of Broker Sales Manager’s to meet the company’s short term and long-term growth objectives. This includes talent development, team efficiency and cultivating a winning culture that focuses on learning, adapting and achieving results. 
    • Sales Strategy & Execution: Execute sales strategy in our core markets and industry segments in order to drive improved profitability, increase closing ratios and client retention goals. Provide sales team and sales leadership with real time feedback and market-based intelligence in an effort to make continuous adjustments to increase sales productivity.
    • Sales Reporting: Oversee the reporting on all sales optimization and productivity reports. Monitor sales effectiveness and measurements of sales operations efficiencies by evaluating reports on data, insights, tools and resources. Oversee the distribution of sales reports and essential sales intelligence.
    • Sales Staffing and Training: Work with internal and external recruiting partners to build team of highly productive A-Players who meet our core competencies and fit our culture. Collaborate with Sales Training Manager to ramp-up and field BSM’s swiftly & effectively, to improve BSM productivity and retention. 

    Qualifications

    You come to the table with...

    • Minimum 5+ years successful sales experience with Insurance Agents and Brokers.
    • A Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Experience managing a sales distribution channel highly preferred. 
    • Superior communication skills (both oral and written) required. 
    • Strong knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM); Salesforce preferred.
